PCMAG have a review of the HP Photosmart A716 and write “One big difference between the 475 and the A716 is that the A716 boosts the hard drive capacity from 1.5GB to 4GB, almost tripling the number of photos you can store. As with the 475, when you use the A716’s video connection to view stored photos on a TV, you can use the printer’s remote control to move through the photos, edit them, and create and view slide shows, almost as if there’s a photo album on your TV. But unlike an album, if a friend or relative likes a particular photo you’re looking at, you can press a button on the remote and print a copy.”
The HP Photosmart A716 Compact Photo Printer delivers lots of features, great-looking output, and, in an important step forward for HP, nearly waterproof photos.

ITReviews reviews the HP Photosmart C5180 and writes, “HP’s all-in-ones continue to march on, yet this generally impressive machine has some surprising omissions that might make you think twice before buying similar models at a comparable price.”
“HP claims the C5180 has ‘the world’s fastest photo printing speeds’, with 15 x 10cm (6 x 4-inch) images at ‘best’ quality in 12 seconds, documents at 32ppm in mono and 31ppm in colour. In practice the 15 x 10cm photos averaged around 20 seconds and typical text documents reached 10ppm, which is still admirable. … The lack of PictBridge capability allied to the faded quality of scanned documents and off-colour scanned photos make this a disappointing addition to the usually exemplary Photosmart series, although you will still have fast reproductions and excellent prints from memory cards.”

The HP OfficeJet 6310 All-in-One is prefect for the small off as it comes with fax, built-in networking, and an automatic document feeder (ADF). The 6310 can be used as a stand-alone printer via USB if required, there are two USB 2.0 ports for those digital cameras with PictBridge mode. Video captures can be printed as long as the image files include JPEG, TIFF, MPEG-1, AVI and Quicktime. If your still or video camera doesn’t support these file types or memory cards, then you can save them to your computer first and then convert them using the supplied HP Photosmart software, which is the principal software for all scanning jobs.
The faxes are scanned on the flatbed scanner or via the ADF, faxes can be sent at a rate of 3ppm and up to eight received faxes can be stored in memory.
The print speeds are 30ppm (pages per minute) for monochrome and 24ppm for colour, with a maximum resolution of 4,800dpi.
One review on cnet.com says ” Buyer Beware. You have to own it to suffer how very poor it is. I bought it from HP and got a three year warranty. I am truly feeling cheated! I WILL BE my last HP printer, or product for that matter.”

he HP Photosmart A516 has been released, for a start HP are saying this printer offers nearly waterproof output, which in fairness I can’t say works or not as I didnt try it. Anyway the A516 can print from most memory cards as well as PictBridge cameras and computers.
The LCD screen is 1.5 inches, and is set at a fixed angle so you may have to move the printer to see it well. We all know to well it’s still a big improvement over not having an LCD at all, which is what you usually get at this price level.
The LCD allows you to preview photos on the display and if needed correct red eye, sharpness, and color with the convenient HP Photo Fix button. Prints are Print 4 x 6. The Print speed is a little slow, but within the typical range for small-format photo printers.
* Color or Monochrome: 1-pass color
* Ink Jet Type: Dedicated Photo
* Connection Type: USB
* Maximum Standard Paper Size: 4″ x 8″
* Number of Cartridges: 1
* Number of Ink Colours: 3
* Direct Printing from Cameras: Yes

he HP Photosmart Pro B9180 printer is designed for photographers who need fast, durable printing up to A3+ in size, believe it or not the B9180 uses eight large cartridges of specially developed Vivera pigment-based inks and has four print heads with over 1800 nozzles per head.
This printer is really aimed at professional photographers and semi-professionals but don’t let that put you off if you’re looking for quality. If you’re a Photoshop user HP have included a Photoshop plugins called ProPrint plug-in for Photoshop. The have also included the HP Colour Centre software.
Overall, the HP B9180 is hard to beat. If your looking for quality prints this might just be the printer for you. With the new pigment inks this printer give you more colour and dynamic range from their prints than what was previously available.

The HP Photosmart D7360 is a very impressive and well-designed printer, one of the features that really impressed me is the 3.4-inch touchscreen LCD.
The D7360 uses six separate color ink cartridges to produce quality photos and has lots of room for memory card slots, PictBridge printing, and if need has an option to use a USB Bluetooth adapter so you can print from you’re mobile phone for example.
If your looking for photo quality, speed, and ease of use you really cant go wrong with this printer from HP, simply take it out of the box, plug it in, load the six ink cartridges, insert paper, and you’re ready to print.
The touchscreen not only has a great interface that’s really easy to use, it cuts down on button clutter that fills up the body of most printers on the market today and has best user interfaces I’ve see on a printer in this price range.
If your just getting your feet wet in digital photography and want to print very good quality photos quickly at home make sure you check out the D7360.
